From June 01 to 30 and then again in autumn 2022, Geberit presents a pop-up showroom at POP KUDAMM focusing on the fusion of function and design "Design meets Function", which is reflected in the overall product landscape by Geberit. This connection is visualized by Berlin artist Dave Großmann, who interprets the two worlds of Geberit - in front of and behind the wall - with a geometric abstract painting on an oversized canvas. In this unique setting, Geberit presents innovative products and solutions and makes them experienceable for interested visitors.

01.06. – 30.06.2022
Monday – Saturday 12:00 – 20:00

With its showroom of almost 12 meters in length at POP KUDAMM, Geberit invites visitors to explore state-of-the-art ideas and solutions made by Geberit. The heart of the installation is the Geberit ONE bathroom series, in which design and function become one, and the Geberit AquaClean shower toilets, offering added hygiene and comfort thanks to gentle cleaning with water.

The POP KUDAMM design is the ideal backdrop for Geberit to draw attention to high-quality, cutting-edge products and innovations. Visitors:inside have the opportunity to discover various shower toilets made by Geberit. Under the motto Design meets Function, the manufacturer is also presenting the Geberit ONE bathroom series: a modular product series offering a wide range of options for designing bathrooms that are aesthetically and functionally outstanding. All components are perfectly matched and can be combined to meet individual needs. One highlight is the mirror cabinets matching the bathroom series with Geberit ComfortLight, a unique lighting concept that creates the perfect mood in the bathroom at all times of the day. Four coordinated light sources integrated into the mirror cabinet can be controlled individually and continuously.

Seeking to make the multifaceted world of themes by Geberit truly tangible, the Pfullendorf-based sanitary manufacturer invited artist Dave Großmann to interpret this world artistically. Dave Großmann studied design and already became interested in materials hidden beneath the visible surface during his studies. The connection to Geberit comes from their shared passion for design and for creative perspectives. This interest is also reflected in the oversized painting on a 2.5 by 5 meter canvas that he created for the Geberit showroom. In his work, he plays with the harmony that all Geberit products stand for: They are always the result of a perfect balance of elegant design and outstanding functionality. In order to bring Geberit’s expertise in products in front of and behind the wall and their systemic integration to life, he opted for a concept in which the background and foreground are visually difficult to separate and blend together. By repeatedly bringing the background into the foreground and using minimal resources to create complexity, Dave Großmann’s installation underscores the interaction of elements in front of and behind the wall – and how one cannot exist without the other.

The Geberit showroom at POP KUDAMM is open daily except Sundays from 12 noon to 8 pm.
